Stainless Steel Wire Rope Mesh - Woven Type
The WOVEN wire rope mesh is even more transparent than the version with sleeves while delivering practically identical strength values. Moreover, there are no troublesome light reflections from the sleeves. Consequently, sleeveless rope mesh is ideally suited for strong and unobtrusive protective nets as well as for animal enclosures in zoo applications because it is easier to see through it when viewing the animals.
Properties
Stainless Steel Wire Rope Mesh is a construction of corrosion-resistant steel ropes placed parallel to one another in pairs connected by alternating sleeves to produce a symmetrical bent pattern. The nets are fabricated application-specifically according to your customer specifications. This means there are no limits to the shape and size. The mesh orientation of Webnet can be selected as desired, yet it is typically arranged vertically or horizontally for geometric shapes.
The items in the programme are fabricated of high-quality corrosion-resistant steel of the material groups AISI 316 and AISI 316L (1.4401 and 1.4404).
Production
The wire rope nets are designed and fabricated in our factory to the exact size designated in the plans provided by the structural engineer. This greatly simplifies and accelerates the installation on the building structure because no cutting to size or adaptation is required at the job site. The result is impressive: Uniform mesh size, consistent tensioning and perfect edge connections.
The nets are put together by hand and are subsequently pressed using machinery. This ensures that the Webnet achieves a consistent quality and guaranteed strength values. The exceptionally corrosion-resistant steel for exterior applications (AISI 316/316L) is processed with care and its quality is monitored continuously. This is the only way for us to be sure that our customers receive the best steel quality.
Applications
In combination with architectural ropes Webnet is used in a wide variety of ways: railing infill, protective nets, safety nets, barricades, fences, zoo enclosures, aviaries, suicide prevention, façade greening, artwork, ball nets, stair wells, skylight protection, fall-stop nets, bridge protection, machine protection, etc.
